Howdy Ya'll

Well its really happening!! Last night I opened my call with friends and family. I have been called to the Lubbock Texas Mission, English Speaking. Will report to the MTC November 7th! Here is a little video of highlights from the night! I am so excited!

The Interview

So this past Sunday I met with my Stake president, President Lindsay! It really was such an amazing experience. He first had me just tell him a little about myself and my family. He had me tell him why was it that made me want to go on a mission and I explained to him the great experiences I had had with my roommate my freshman year of college when she converted to the church, and than I continued to tell him about the story of how I received my answer. Its almost impossible to tell that story without getting emotional.. so naturally, I cried. ha ha. Then he asked me the basic temple worthy questions, and had me share my testimony with him. Again the spirit was so strong, and I could feel it throughout the entire room. He gave me a lot of great advice, and told me I would have my call in ten days!! 10 days!!! I cannot believe its coming so quickly! Next week I will find out where I will be serving for the next 18 months of my life! He also told me he would like for me to get my endowments as soon as I get my call, so I will be going through the temple in about two weeks as well!  I cannot wait to spread this wonderful gospel with others. To see the joy and light it brings to those who most need it.

Worth Waiting For

The thing I want most. Eternal Marriage. Eternal life. Eternal Family. A mission can only help prepare me even more for this one day! This video gives the perfect example of why certain things are worth waiting for.
